Human engineering is the study of mental and physical capacities of human beings in relation to the demands made upon them by their job and by the equipments they have to use to carry out their jobs. The human engineers apply scientific knowledge and research methodology to study the human areas. It is the engineering for human use. It may be described as an attitude by which an engineer approaches the problem of designing machines and equipment to be used by the human beings.
