All  India Council For Technical Education commonly known as AICTE will now conduct the National level Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission in management (MBA) programme twice a year. This CMAT test will be conducted for the admission to the hundreds of affiliated colleges with the AICTE.

 This time AICTE has decided to conduct CMAT twice a year. The notification is now issued to announce the schedule for conducting second Test of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) for admission for academic year 2013-14.

 The good news for candidates appeared in the first test was that they may also appear for Second Test and better of two scores will be used for admission for 2013-14.

 Important Dates for CMAT 2013-14 (Second Test)

 Registration opens on                         November 1, 2012

Last Date for Online Registration      02.01.2013

Print out of Hall Ticket                       From 11.02.2013

Computer based test dates.                 21.02.2013 to 25.02.2013

Test Timings                                        9.30 am – 12.30pm

                                                               2.30 pm – 5.30 pm

Declaration of result                           13.03.2013

Print out of Score Cards                     From 13.03.2013 to 13.04.2013

 Eligibility to appear in CMAT

 Graduates in any discipline or Final Year students of Graduate Courses can apply for CMAT online.

Net banking/credit/debit card (through www.aicte-cmat.in) or through cash payment (through challan generated online and cash deposited in any branch of State bank of India)

 Admission Process

 The detailed merit list will be provided to the respective State Governments for allotting the students through central counseling or otherwise as per their notified admission procedure.

• In case there is no central counseling Scores awarded will be used for admission in the AICTE approved Institutes / University Departments.
